Tuning Inward: A how to on connecting with your inner spirit guide

It's the still quiet moments when we are settling down, meditating or preparing for bed. I've observed most times people tend to just climb into bed close thier eyes and fall asleep or get restless with worry over the following day and things needing to be done. A swarm of thoughts ranging from tossing stuff in the washer, what dinner will be, bills needing to be paid not thoughts to cuddle up to and go to sleep with. Reflecting on the saying of stopping to smell the flowers but a nighttime approach. Similar to steps to lucid dreaming or astral projection at first. The laying down or sitting back and closing of one's eyes, the silencing of the mind and acknowledging your soft steady breaths. The rhythm of you prior to bed. Tuning into the sounds of your body and feeling how it settles in. The rise and fall of chest, the steady bump of a heartbeat, the pattern of breath, how it feels to relax and let go of stress and worry than surrendering to self. It's the emptying of the mind so that it maybe filled with the truth of you. Allowing only what needs to come through and be heard enter. The body hums with gentle vibrations once you silence the exterior and focus instead on the internal. A soft wave of tingling and comfort washing over the body. "Light as a 🪶 feather, stiff as a board" Opening the heart and mind as gateways to healing. Asking questions and ceasing to overwhelm self with the how To's and why's, but instead just listening to what your soul is trying to say.
